John was the first recipient of The Freddy K Jr Memorial Scholarship and was a member of the 1997 Western Mass District Concert Band.
Additionally, John has established himself by creating and maintaining a number of music related web pages namely Happy Louie.com. He was also the writer of the monthly column: "The New England Polka Spotlight" which appeared in the Buffalo, NY published Polish American Journal. in the late 1990's. John also assisted on Billy Belina's radio show on WMUA from 1998-2000.
John has 2 beautiful daughters: Natalie and Kylie.
