Charles is the bass player for the East Side Groove. He is currently from Randolph,MA where he lives with his lovely wife JoAnn. They have two daughters. Mandolyn Piscioneri from Springfield, MA, and Melody Shaffer from Minot ,ND. Charles and JoAnn are Dziadju and Babcia to three grandsons, Tyler and Dylan Piscioneri from Springfield, MA ages 4 years & 5 months, and Avery Shaffer from Minot, ND 3 years old.
Charles has always enjoyed being on stage from as early as 13 years of age when he performed in the Nutcracker Suite with the Boston Ballet Company. Charles gave up dancing though to take up the guitar. Charles played in a few garage bands in his hometown of Gilbertville MA, and finally decided that he wanted to play bass.

* Ikagen was a Harvard University based group of musicians that were part of a larger group of artists known as Trashart. They released one LP and made an appearance at the National Gallery in Washington D.C.
** The Ghostshadows were an original rock band that gained a great following in eastern & central Massachusetts. They came in 3rd out of 40 bands in the WAAF Rock & Roll Rumble.
Besides performing music, Charles was a lead actor in the full length feature film Winterbeast.
