The East-Side Groove was formed in January 2001. The musicians that make up the Groove come from a diverse musical background, having performed with many other bands and in other genres of music previously. This past experience provides The Groove with its unique styling and characteristics not common in the industry today.

At the heart of the group is the all-mighty polka. Push-style, Eastern, and Honky are all commonplace at each of the Groove's performances. In addition, The East-Side Groove has a large library of rock, pop, country and standards that can also be heard at any of the Groove's performances. The audience is who we play for and we will accommodate any setting.
